"The resort is located right next to water which is a great plus. Rooms are large enough and comfy. They provide couple of half a liter of water every day which is good.
The only downside is the food/drink selection gets old quickly. We only had one nearby restaurant (Yawee - highly recommended)."
"We had an amazing time - overall excellent experience. We came to Layana Resort to relax and relax we did. The hotel staff was really friendly and attentious, the grounds were beautiful, the vibe was quiet and relaxed.
The spa was a real treat and we enjoyed the time we spent there getting massages and mani/pedicures.
The restaurant was great (especially the Thai dishes and special menus) and we had all our meals there for most of our stay. Eating by the sea never gets old :)

"Very attentive staff on site. Strong dedicated WiFi signal for each room. Large fridge and strong A/C in the room. The resort offers mask/snorkels for free use but the glass on some were scratched so badly that it made viewing underwater very poor. I would suggest perhaps bringing your own snorkel gear for the best experience."

"Going home to Dany and Edna Lanta felt like being a part of a sweet little neighborhood, or college with a dorm mom. Dany helped me with all things transportation (scooter and taxi), and the staff kept exceptionally tidy and well-run rooms amd service. Everyone was so kind! "Hotel was in a great location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Shower worked well, bed was comfy, we loved the pool. The AC dripped water which ruined some of my journal pages, and the AC was very noisy, so if they sort that it will be perfect. The best thing were the dogs, Candy and Ice cream, they were so well looked after and super friendly. We would definitely stay here again."
