Where do I start. Fist off the location is further out of Kuah. Not an issue for us as we rented a car from the hotel. However when we got to the villa, car park space is pretty tight especially when some other guests park their big luxury cars in a selfish manner.
Then the rooms itself. The smallest room has no window. The furniture in the rooms are all the cheapest one can buy. Two out of the three rooms, the bar to hang clothes in the open cupboards were missing/broken. Towels had surely seen better days and no spare toilet rolls around. Had to go ask the cleaner for more. The guy gave some excuse that if they leave spare toilet rolls about, small lizards go in. How and Why? Don't ask me.
The kitchen sink was filthy at the escape drainer. Looked like someone with a bad flu had been clearing the throat in there. The bathroom floor water hole cover was located below the sink. I had to put it back. The main room has a bathroom but its so cramped that the shower and WC are so close that one can't really sit on the bog comfortably. Luckily there is another common bathroom which is bigger.
There is a microwave but no cooking stove. With the lizard issue (see above) was wondering how clean all the utensils, plates, mugs etc were as they were left ontop of the table with no covering.
In the morning 8am, building work started and was noisy right outside the window. And lets not forget the two very large boats rotting in the land space just infant of our villa. An eye sore !
