"We were in Cheticamp for only 1 night. Unfortunately our whale watching tour was cancelled due to poor weather conditions. The first impression my husband and I had of the property is that reminded us of a hotel we stayed at in the Cinque Terre in Italy. We stayed in rm #3 which was well appointed. Loved the wallpaper! "We appreciated the politeness and efficiency of the very limited staff. The owner/manager/cook was onsite. Breakfast - the only meal served — was very good. Room was clean, bathroom was fine, nice small balcony off our room overlooking the river, parking included."

"Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place."

"We enjoyed our stay here, but we were considerably disappointed in the internet. We stayed in the Chalets further up the hill with a very nice view and absolutely no wifi or internet. Electrical surge blew it out almost two years ago per staff. We would have stayed in one of the lodges below if we had know about the internet."
