"This motel offers a convenient, quiet, and comfortable stay with hot water (though it can be scalding hot if you’re not careful) and Keurig coffee (bring your own water). However, we encountered an issue with the air conditioning, but it worked (loud and clear all night) after we got help. The window wouldn’t close fully, which made us somewhat uncomfortable, but quickly forgot about it as we passed out from exhaustion only to be woken up at 6am (on the dot) by the motorcycle next door starting...

"This was a wonderful property to stay at. Yon get a spacious room that looks out over the lake. Rooms are fully equiped for your convenience with fridge air conditionind (heat) .it was by far the best place we stayed at during our trip to Cape Breton we will be returning for sure. If your heading to Sydney it is about 30mins outside of the city. In closing i cant say enough about this property and the cost was unbelievable to get the quality of room for $130.00.i would rate the experience with a...

"We had room 8 which is in a separate building behind the main house in the upstairs suite...it was lovely! Nice and clean and really nicely decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable nights rest! There are two hot tubs available for guests use eith plenty of towels in the room. We enjoyed the complimentary chocolate bars....thank you! "

"This is a little overdue, however I definitely wanted to post this. So I rolled in here on Friday February 2nd for a skiing weekend at Cape Smokey, and was due to check out Sunday morning February 4th...but after 120 cm of snow over the weekend, I didn't get out until February 6th.
