"The staff was very friendly! Loved the outdoor activities by the pool and it was so close to so many things! We got on a cruise from here and it was very close to the port as well! My one and only complaint is that although the room was clean and everything, it smelled weird and it was super hot when we got in there! Other than that great experience!"

"The only issues with this hotel were mine. The staff were super friendly. The rooms were clean. There is no elevator, so if you need one, make sure you request a first floor room. I was accommodated quickly. The pool/hot tub were locked. Breakfast was simple, but good. Scrambled eggs and sausage. One of my issues was the pot smoking. I don't mind it if I don't have to breathe it also. Smelled like a family of skunks invaded the hotel. The room was loud. The hotel is right on PCH. You can hear all the traffic. The curtains and the door. There was about a 2 inch gap on the curtains that wouldn't close that anyone outside could look into the room. The door always looked cracked open. It wasn't. It was locked, but the light coming from around the door made it look open. I was terrified the whole first night. There was nothing that could have been done by staff for this things. Didn't go into my stars. "

"We stayed overnight prior to our cruise. Great stay. Within walking distance to grocery, restaurants, etc. Very clean and breakfast was delicious and high quality. My only wish is that check in was earlier than 4pm."

"This was unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We rented two rooms for ourselves and our family members, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear the property was not being properly maintained. The cleanliness was a major issue, our rooms did not feel sanitary. It also did not feel like a safe or appropriate environment for families with children. There was a strong marijuana smell throughout the property, in the hallways, elevator, and even outside, which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. Our floor also had a persistent odor that smelled like rotten food or trash, as if something had been left unattended for far too long. To make matters worse, basic necessities were lacking, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived, which is simply unacceptable for any hotel stay. On top of that, the service was disappointing. Staff were either unavailable or unhelpful when we raised concerns, which only added to the frustration. It felt like guest comfort and basic upkeep were not a priority here. We ended up leaving after only about an hour because we simply couldn’t feel comfortable staying, and booked another place instead. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made in both cleanliness and customer service. "

"The Motel was reasonably priced and it was not far from the cruise terminal. I was in town to take a cruise a couple days and to visit Disneyland and it was pretty close to both and the staff were nice. The room was clean could’ve been maintained a little better and took a little while for the water for shower to heat up but otherwise it was nice and especially for the price. It was not very costly"

"The front desk was very nice, from Jack to the lady I didn’t get her name. The property had a lot of homeless people, and some of the people there seemed a bit sketchy. I was a little scared to leave my car when I pulled in, and everyone stopped to look at us, especially since I had my toddler with me. I didn’t feel safe, and the hotel door was very loose, and to make matters worse, the card key didn’t work. We were promised a full refund, but we’ll see if they actually keep their word."

"Greeted by the most miserable women. I’m a bubbly person so I said hi as friendly as usual. But she didn’t even bother to say hi back, no smile, didn’t give any information about parking or checkout, just asked for my license, handed us the key gave the room number all with a miserable scowl on her face, and walked away. Super bad first impression. The room was clean but bare bones. No hair dryer or iron just fyi, wish I’d looked into that ahead of time. Location was a bit dodgy but close enough to where we were heading. However, I would not stay here again just for the miserable greeting alone."
