Hotel berdekatan Lake Norman State Park

"The front desk staff were friendly & helpful. Of the 2 rooms we had for the night the beds were comfortable & 1 of the rooms was very quiet. Unfortunately the lobby & elevators were cluttered with construction materials, old decorations & covered furniture as they clearly were sprucing up the place. It made the entrance & lobby unusable. They were painting the front desk throughout the day & night which was smelly. I chose this Hampton Inn over another close by because of reviews & the nice...

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the highlights was the amazing breakfast menu with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others."

"There was only 1 ice machine for 5 floors and sometimes it was empty too. They charged my credit card for the full stay even though I had pre-paid for the stay. I reserved a King Suite, but they checked me into a Queen Suite. They did offer to move me the next day. "

"The staff did not know how to operate their new computer system and were unable to check me in. I waited 45 minutes for my key card and only after the hotel manager arrived from his home to do it. The room is outdated and in poor to fair condition. There was hair in the sink and the shower. "

"The best thing about this hotel was the staff...everyone was friendly and helpful. There were quite a few cosmetic repairs needing done, such as the peeling paint above the pool. There were large pieces hanging down over a significant area of rhe ceiling. The indoor pool is small, and I had to leave after just 10 minutes because it felt like my lungs completely shut down between the humidity, high air temp, and chlorine fumes in the air. Some people might not mind. I thought it was a little low rent, but other than the overwhelming smell of dope, it was a great stay! "
