"The best thing was parking. It was super easy. As long as no other car take up the designated parking spot in front of the grass (which no one did). I rented a car, and I mean, if you're visiting the Bay Area you should rent a car. The main issue I had was that the shower drain was clogged. Other than that, it's a studio and felt like a studio. It was also a bit annoying that there was a sign that you could only use 1 of each of the following at a time: the coffee machine, the microwave, and...

"There was plenty of parking available when we arrived on Thursday and I had no concerns about the safety of the car. When we checked in the staff noticed that I had booked a room with a single bed for my sister and I and let us take a room with two beds at no extra charge which was so nice! Our room had a view of the ocean and it was clean with comfortable beds, a fridge, and microwave. The location is great since you can walk right onto the beach or to Golden Gate park, and the N Judah line...

"The breakfast was wonderful with bagels, Danish, Greek yogurt, cereals, eggs, toast, jams...we loved every morning sipping our coffee in the garden room and talking with other guests. "

"Property was nice and clean and had been renovated. Enjoyed our stay it’s nice. They gave us earplugs because the restaurant across the street plays loud music until 10 o’clock and after that it was fine. We will come stay there again thanks"

"Motel 6 on the great highway is a quiet place with good parking. It was somewhat old looking but adequate. No shampoo was provided… but it had soap…I had to request another blanket as one night I was cold…i no complaints"

"I didn’t like that I reported that the tv didn’t work and the front desk just said they’d call a tech later. When it still wasn’t working hours later they said they’d call tech hadn’t answered and they’d call in the morning. It wasn’t fixed the next day or the day after and they’d call did not offer to change the tv or the room. Then they cancelled the reservation."

"Small room, big bed. Comfy mattress. Hard to see/access microwave & coffee pot at bottom of dresser. Nice TV. Nice lighted mirror in bathroom. Only 1 electric outlet in room in bathroom but USB connections below each lamp on each side of the bed. It worked but the AC/heater unit was very noisy. Free parking but need to get there early to make sure to get a space. "

" Management refused to refund my second and canceled night in Room 107 where the TV didn't work despite my repeated requests to repair it. I am dissatisfied and disappointed. "

"In truth we only booked this spot for the fireplace, only to find that the fireplaces are for show, the bed canopy is also for show, and there's no amenities like a breakfast or anything. Staff is nice but also didn't give us the right location for parking. The hotel parking sheet itself shows 2 locations that you're not even allowed to park at, which more speaks on management not updating any of their notices. Our room alone was still really neat despite not what we expected, I would not go...

"My daughter and I recently stayed at the Grove Inn and found it very nice. There was consistent communication from the staff prior to check in (regarding access, parking, etc). The building is so cute, and very well maintained. The room was spotless. We also loved the convenient locations (we walked to Alamo Square to see the view, then walked to a nearby sushi restaurant and Salt and Straw). We would definitely stay again!"
