Hampton Inn Black Mountain
Clean room. Guy on reception excellent. Gave us loads of info on the area breakfast good. Only lacking a safe in the room otherwise good

The Monte Vista Hotel
Bar/restaurant was closed for renovations but that was totally fine because so many awesome places to go that are walkable. Staff was so friendly and we felt well cared for. The fireplace and communal spots were a nice way to unwind and meet others that were traveling.
