"Birthday Bliss – Rainbows, Relaxation & a Spa for All Weathers Stayed for a birthday treat and it couldn’t have been more magical! Even with mixed weather, the spa was perfect—steamy outdoor pools with stunning views of Windermere, and cosy indoor thermal rooms to warm up in. We even saw a rainbow over the lake while relaxing in the hot tub! Staff were lovely, the food was great, and the whole place felt like a luxury retreat. Rain or shine, Low Wood Spa is a dream. Can’t wait to go back! 💗"

"This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it was as enjoyable as the first stay. Staff very friendly, happy to accomodate any request, within reason. Very quite despite being very busy, great views of the lake and great location. Windermere Lake Cruises almost on the door step for getting out and about . Plenty of choice for breakfast and very good."

"Booked the Crown and Mitre Hotel for THE WALL (70 mile ultra marathon) it was a perfect stay, great staff, great nights sleep and a great time on the run."

"Would definitely visit again! We had a free room upgrade and it was a significant improvement on the room we had anticipated - thank you very much! The room looked a little tired and so were some of the corridor/stair areas too. Our wasn't perfectly clean - the windows, mirrors and a large crisp was fairly obvious but overall, it was good. "Nice room to base ourselves from for the night before the Fred Whitton. Basic room with everything you need, only complaint would be that the room we had was facing the street and the Saturday nightlife was pretty loud till late walking past the front of our room that kept waking us up, appreciate this is outside of the hotels control though so not their fault but this is just a work of warning if you are after an early. Ight for an early start. "
