"Lovely old pub. The rooms great and clean but the beds were a bit bumpy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the first night, I had belly pork, which was very tender and tasty. The second night I had a burger, but it was dry. All in all, it was a great break"

"We had the most amazing stay at The Pheasant Inn. Stuart, Alison, Christine & all the staff made our week away perfect. Nothing was too much trouble & everyone was so friendly. The food was beautiful & piping hot just as we like it. We are definitely going to return to the Lake District & we will definitely be staying at The Pheasant Inn. "The staff here are incredible, so friendly and helpful. We stayed for a nearby wedding and they gave us an iron and iron board and taxi recommendations. The food also tasted amazing and was great quality, the menu isn't large but they do regularly change their specials.
