"It was close to the ferry from Saltspring Island , It was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. It was a pleasant surprise to find it had to two very nice beds, it had a bedroom as well as a bed in the living area, full stove and fridge. All the other things hotels have. If there was one small thing lacking it was a tea towel to dry the dishes, other than that it was a wonderful place and we would definely stay there again."

"From the first moment that I checked-in, I was warmly greeted by the Front Desk staff that made my stay feel like home the minute I walked through their doors. Checking-in was a breeze & took less than 5 minutes as they were quite organized before I walked into my impeccably clean room-- the little touch of having the tv & the front lamp on upon arrival was a consideration that made me certain that I chose the right hotel to stay at for my 4 day stay. Everything from the fold in the sheets & towels to the way that the staff would check to see if I needed anything made this cozy hotel a memorable stay for my first time in Nanaimo. The staff were so on-top of everything from ensuring that the daily Continental Breakfast was consistently topped-up with fresh food for all guests to enjoy to ensuring the hot water dispensers were full (a small detail that most would overlook but the thought & consideration was definitely noticed!)-- the staff never missed a beat! Here, you're treated like family, instead of a guest renting a room. I definitely got alot of value from my stay at the Travelodge in Nanaimo & I'll definitely come back to this hotel at my next visit to Nanaimo! Thank you!"
