The service was excellent. Everybody was extremely helpful and very nice. However, you get what you pay for, and this IS rated as a two-star hotel... so don't expect anything else, and you won't be disappointed. Clean and tidy, but the entire room needs renovation from the early 80s, It's literally falling apart.
Like I said, don't expect anything more than a two-star hotel and you won't be disappointed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a good cheap overnight stay. Old hotel but beautiful grounds. Clean and quiet. Sorely needs an upgrade, but the price reflects the situation. So fine for a quick overnight stay.
My mom is 83 yrs old and we didn't arrive at hotel in time to get ground floor room.
We stayed two nights and the hotel staff got us into a ground floor room second night.
Very nice staff.
Thank you!
Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Folks up front were super nice.

Rm 139 needs some repairs that would have made this rating better - a/c sounds like an idling 18-wheeler (but it did drown out the people in the next room yelling outside), the bathtub faucet handle was loose enough i thought it might break, and the bathroom light never shut completely off but gave a soft flow and made popping noises off and on.
Room itself was fairly clean, bed comfortable.
Front desk attendant when I checked in was super nice and even made sure I got to my room safely. I would pick this place again if the upkeep & maintenance was a bit better but overall a decent place to catch an overnight sleep.
Staff there was great conditions of the hotel were terrible. Awful mold and mildew I realize it was a less expensive hotel but I do not want to pay over $200 for one night before going to Disney.
The towels were super soft. Check in great. The breakfast bar was out of waffle batter. Milk in pitcher going sour(changed when noted. Breakfast set up needed attention.

The most enjoyable thing about this hotel was this one lady that worked during the night. She was always nice and helpful also quick with check in. The things I wish they worked on were having more of a variety of breakfast
This property is in a great location! Lots of beaches clae by. World class fishing! The kids absolutly loved the pool. Morning coffee & sunrises where beautiful. Lots of wildlife around the water! I would defintly stay again. All questions & communication was prompt!
Service was good on arrival. Place needs a serious renovation. Water pressure was very low, bathroom light did not work, no smoke detector (only the base was there) breakfast was terrible.

The couple that own the hotel was very nice. Everything was clean, the owner tried to stay on top of staff making sure of cleaness and pool being clean. He had to let staff go when we was there but replaced them the next day. The lady who cleaned the pool her boys thru rocks all in the pool but he removed them before we went to the pool the next day. The rocks were not in the pool until the day she was cleaning the pool with her 2 boys. That was uncomfortable stepping on rocks. The outside does need some tlc, more grooming and fixing done on by the pool and the bridge. Overall staff was nice, rooms was clean, bed was comfortable, pet friendly and free continental breakfast was good.

The room had big wet spots when we got in and was missing pillows. There were only 2 towels in a room for four. There was no shampoo or conditioner. Just soap and lotion. The lobby smelled like Marijuana. Somebrooms had decorations in the windows and placed trash oit of the doors, it appears some people lived there long term. The parking area had a urine smell.
But the staff were all very friendly and offered me a different room. They were patient and kind.
It wasn't the best hotel I have stayed at, but I would stay there again because it wasn't the worst hotel I have been to either.
Description of hotel was wrong !! No hot tub !! No workout room !! Room wasn’t as dirty as I expected by looking at the outside .

Could do better
I understand this is a budget hotel and I'm not super upset, but I've had much better overall experiences for even cheaper. Many things were broken or not working properly... phone, tv/remote, secerity bolt, breakfast appliances, etc. Breakfast was lack luster! Not a ton of variety. We ate about 8:15 so they had 30-40 min of breakfast left. They had 1 yogurt in the cooler, No fruit was out, waffle batter ran out. When asked for more batter they said that was it for the day. The next group had to wait for more coffee to be made. This place was not busy at all so running out should not have been a problem. Service the night before was better than the morning shift. Beds were comfortable and clean.
This experience was absolutely horrid. First off me and my family needed to stay one night somewhere. We were camping and got rained out. So a nice looking place (the pictures), with a hot tub and pool came along! BUT when we got here they told us that the hot tub was down and have been for a couple of days (but reviews dating back to a month ago AT LEAST have said the same thing) secondly, the carpet of the front desk was disgusting and looking back it probably was mold. I say that because we found black mold in the bed, on the walls, the bathroom and on the ceiling of our room. Our bed skirt had so much mold on it (in pictures) and the circle of mold was on the mattress cover (in pictures) as if someone just threw a fitted sheet on it to over it up!! They offered for us to switch rooms when we told them we had a bad allergy to mold! OKAY FINE… BUT THEN they were talking to us in casual speaking apparently?? and they said that they just need to do a paint job and that they were going to paint soon!!! YES???! THEY TOLD US THAT THEY ARE GOING TO PAINT OVER THE MOLD. i was absolutely mortified!! so then we got our second room, and although it seemed to be a little better than the first WE STILL FOUND MORE MOLD! (also in pictures). As well as, our towels weren’t cleaned properly. (in pictures). Not to mention now SKECKY this place was!!! There was a creepy van with a man walking back and forth to his van to his room all night long! and he was banging on his van and windows!? not
