What an amazing hidden gem along the PCH. We have family in the area, but had a night to ourselves and decided to spend it here. This quaint hotel is straight out of a Wes Anderson movie with each glimpse around the place being picture perfect. We stayed in an accessiblle king room. It was actually slightly cheaper than the regular king room and I think it was because we were right next to the laundry room. At first we thought someone was knocking and then realized it was the washing machine rolling on the other side of the wall. It was minor and only in the daytime. I would still 100% stay in this exact room again. It was one of the best accessible bathrooms I have been in with a HUGE roll in shower and bench. I could have done my morning workout in that huge bathroom.
I can't say enough about the thought that went into every detail of this place from the hot cookies to the welcome glass of champagne to the designs of the rooms and common areas. I felt like I was in a movie (a Wes Anderson one to be exact).
Katie at the front desk was delightful and answered any questions we had plus helped us get our beach chairs (yay for 80 degrees in February).
Karen at the morning breakfast was top notch. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her (all while she worked her tail off). She made the morning spectacular for us with top notch personalized service (even on a very busy Sunday morning).
We cannot wait to stay here again some day!!
