The property has a stylish look and the rooms are well-decorated with quality amenities, but the overall experience did not match the $600 per night price tag. Food options are very limited, mainly small appetizers, and while cocktails and service were very good, the dining did not come close to fitting the price point. The one standout was breakfast, which was fantastic for a true continental spread and even included good champagne being served. It feels like a hidden gem, though I would be surprised if that offering lasts once more travelers catch on.
Despite being listed as a VIP property on Expedia, there were no actual VIP perks provided, which was disappointing. The beds were only moderately comfortable and tended to sag in the middle. Parking is another frustration since you pay $25 per night and still struggle to find a spot. The air-conditioning unit was also a nightmare, freezing one side of the bed while the rest of the room stayed warm. The pool area is cute but could be much nicer for the price. Another miss was the lack of body wash during our stay, forcing us to use shampoo instead. For a property that promotes Diptyque as its luxury amenity, overlooking basics like this reflects poorly on housekeeping and management.
