"The room was very clean and the grounds were stunning. The old colonial style in the bar and restaurant with all of the history attached to it are characterful. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are a little tired in places but that does not detract from the ambiance. "

There was only enough space for one bedside table, two could not fit and the bathroom (shower) was similarly small otherwise everything was good."

"Magda is so friendly and helpful and really makes your stay a wonderful experience. The food was lovely and the garden is quirky. Her very first car which is really old is full of flowers in the garden. There is an old bike and lots of signs scattered about. "
