"I was extremely disappointed at check-in. The only request I had made was a ground floor room which was provided. However, I had expected breakfast and was told it was a self-catering accommodation. I asked about breakfast and was led to believe that was doubtful and being able to invite a guest not allowed! Some positive critique to work on (room 24): - We were in a street facing room, so there was noice from the street. - Cold water tap needs to be attended to … seems like no water and then all of a sudden a gush of it. - mattrasses can be opgraded/replaced, is very thin. "Far from a four star experience. The facility is aged and in a poor state of repair. Damp and mould everywhere with weathered wood and paneling and covers bent and falling off. The whole place feels like a bit of a ghost town to be honest. The porter service is only to carry your bags - you must walk. And it’s not efficient. The “all day” Cucina restaurant only serves breakfast. Very limited menu at Herold’s Bar and nothing memorable. No vibe at the bar and very poor sound on the TV. Retail...
