"There is no wifi, even after I was told there was. The pool was usually clised. The mini mart was usually closed. Even when open, very limited on food, especially since no can opener was available and is needed. There's no ATM and they do not accept cards. The pigeons outside kitchen window made it unappetizing to eat. There is no restaurant as stated. The beach is ok but hard to reach since the place is surrounded by a barbed wire fence making it seem like a prison. The tv did not work at all....

"The Sama Sama Hotel has two Airport hotels - the one within the International airport is the smaller Sama Sama Express. The main Sama Sama Hotel is just out of the airport building but guests are taken both ways in a golf buggy in under cover walkways and it takes about 2 to 3 minutes max. This is the hotel I am commenting on. The Hotel is very luxurious in every respect unlike most airports we have stayed in around the world . The guest rooms are large and have every convenience plus very comfortable beds - the restaurants and bars are first class - the outdoor pool and garden are resort style . I always stay at Sama Sama on the way to UK and Europe as Malaysian Airlines have great departure times from Australia to KL then non stop KL to Heathrow flights . I stick by my comment it is “ The best Airport Hotel in the World “ ."
