"First of all, ALL of Lima is loud and dirty so expect some kind of a reflection of that fact in any budget hotel in Lima. It is part of the experience. That given and compared to EVERY other hotel I identified in Lima on Expedia or on foot Hotel Maxys Grau was the best value for the cost. Lima is EXPENSIVE too, unlike Colombia that I have more acclimated to. Everything cost more here than in Colombia or Mexico, so expect to pay more for the same luxuries.

"I know this is an airport hotel, but it’s also the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in within Latin America. There is nothing comparable. Not only is it convenient to the airport, but it is just steps from the arrivals and departures area on a walkway built just for the hotel. The free breakfast buffet is incredible. Skip the Miraflores hotels and use this one as your base in Lima. "
