The staff were fantastic. They're in the process of improving the back yard (the Oasis) with a pool and BBQ area. It will be great when completed. The neighbours were noisy (loud music seems to be a favorite thing in the DR) overnight which the staff apologized for.

This property is very unique. It is located in a very busy area of La Romana. The word "Oasis" is exactly the right word for this hotel. It was a clean, very well designed hotel with a beautiful mural that you might miss if you were just driving through. But the best part was the staff. Everyone, from the owner, the manager and even people working on the building of their soon to be opened pool, treated me like I was a guest in their home. The manager provided me with suggestions on where to go and eat and also provided me with a transfer to the port when I was departing. I am very happy to have found this place and if I am in the area again, I will certainly stay again.

AC doesn't turn on until 7PM, which is not what was advertised and sucked really bad. Also no WiFi and the area around here is very sketchy. I decided to go to bed hungry versus going out. Between AC and WiFi not working, I lost money not being able to work remotely. The staff was excellent and the parking is limited to 2 spots, but wasn't an issue while I was there. I would never step foot in this place again, but that's not to down the property, I need AC and WiFi. The gentleman on staff was amazing and tried so hard to please me. He is what made the property great. The sheets were nice, the bed was reasonably comfortable, but did leave me hurting the next day because I'm a side sleeper and it didn't work well for me. Ultimately the bed and pillows were slightly above average and it seems like this place is really trying to make it nice. The constant honking of horns made the rooms which weren't soundproofed basically impossible to sleep. My sleep score for the night (acorsing to my watch) was subpar at around 38 out of 100. I was hoping for better, but by all means it could have been worse and once the AC turned on, it cooled the room down from over 95 quick enough, but it was miserable for the first few hours and made me hate the entire experience.

Everything was TOO bad, I would really like to ask for a refund. Bathroom had no lights, water in bathroom was limited. The hotel provided to us recycle bottles of water for each other. We were 4 people, 2 elder women, and they really didn't care about it and didn't give to us a nice room. Room had no TV. What you offer here in your website, in order to what we had, was totally different.

The property manager was very attentive. We arrived later than expected so he walked us to a neighborhood restaurant that was still open and even bought our meal with pesos so we wouldn't get overcharged paying US$ (of course we paid him back later). Interesting property with potential - just located in a not-so-good area. It was fine for a one night stay before our cruise.

El lugar tiene estacionamiento pero el carro esta en la calle no del todo seguro, al frente del lugar tenían un sonido insoportable que aunque cerraras las ventana permanecía (cosa externa del lugar pero incómodo si quieres descansar). Aunque el personal fue amable, el lugar en general no me agradado.

Todo perfecto, la administración responsable, todo limpio, amables y con la ayuda de Santiago pude conocer lugares interesantes de la ciudad. Si alguien busca ver algo especial hable con él y lo ayudará. Gracias a todos y cuando regrese a la ciudad nos vertemos nuevamente. Recomiendo el lugar sin ningún problema, nuevamente gracias.
