"I really enjoyed my stay. I was in FL to help my sister prepare to move, so it didn't matter to me that the title of Resort was overstated. Nice pool but no playground, golf, or other things I think of a resort being likely to have. Staff was absolutely wonderful, everyone pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Building is solid, with minimal noise from Federal Hwy right by my room, and July 4 fireworks sounded distant and muffled though they were close. The grounds are lovely, lots of tropical trees...

"woke early for coffee in room, mine had tea pods and one decaf pod for the machine. had to wait to go down and get reg coffee. asked staff good place to eat, she said just drive north you'll find something. I think it would be a good idea just to have a printout of local recommended places. all else was fine"

"We really enjoyed the Pool and the light up flamingos. We stayed in the Serape room. The room smelled like old Florida ( which we didn't mind) so if you're sensitive to a musty smells I'd pass. the shower grout was very white and clean.The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were like clouds from heaven. There was a mini fridge in the closet. and Mangos all over the property in July. It was perfect for what we needed."

"The front desk, car valet, and bellman were kind and welcoming. I was whisked off to my beautiful room, equipped with everything and more, for a relaxing nights stay. I had dinner at their restaurant beside the pool, with a bar and pizza grill. Prompt service and the most delicious smash burger and truffle fries ever!!!! I chose to checkout online, and then received my car from the valet quickly. I will definitely return!!"

"No staff available for check in, drugs being sold outside, drug dealer told us he wouldn’t stay there as it was for drugs and prostitution. When I called the #on the door first it rang then they ignored the calls so I called the “emergency number” on the door, I gave my name, and he said there was no reservation under that name when clearly there was. I reserved for the convenience and pricing, never again. Ended up stranded in a different state with no reservation. Expedia solved the issue...

I stay there because my mother lives in an assisted living facility literally walking distance from there. I have no problem parking my car. The breakfast are great. "I loved everything about Aka and can’t wait to return. The hotel was amazing, room was clean, staff was friendly and always nice, loved all the amenities We really enjoyed the pool and the lounge with bar. Location was perfect, short walk to restaurants and shopping. The free shuttle service was definitely a bonus."
