"Fine hotel well situated"

"Almost all was outstanding during our stay at this beautiful hotel. We found great value in our selection of a gold room which included the breakfast, evening hors d’oeuvres and beverage lounge. We are very clean people who appreciate a very clean room upon arrival. That we received. We did not leave behind a messy room AND we left a generous gratuity for housekeeping for their excellent attention during our stay. There was only one problem, although it was a big problem. Within one hour of checking out of the hotel, we realized we left something in the room. We called immediately and asked for it to be held at the front desk as we would be returning in a few days and we would pick it up. The item was never turned in as found property. I find this very disheartening."

"In need of extensive renovation. Water infiltration on floors and walls. Shower needs replacing, soundproofing also needs urgent attention. Besoin de beaucoup, de rénovation. Infiltration d'eau, sur plancher, mure. Douche a changer, insonorisation a voir de tout urgence également"

"What I liked: 1. Very spacious room: The room has two chairs, several lamps, blackout curtains, and ample closet space. 2. Gym: The gym has several cardio machines and several cable machines. There are dumbbells up to 50 pounds. There are two free benches. The sauna is large and coed. The pool is large enough for 3 lanes and maybe 4. 3. Security: There was always staff at the front. Keys are needed to use the elevators. 4. Proximity to tourist attractions: It's a 25 minute uphill walk from here to Old Montreal tourist attractions. I took a cab each time to get there. Cabs arrived in less than 5 minutes each time. 5. Proximity to food: There are numerous cafes, pastry spots, and several restaurants within 10 minutes walk."
