"We loved the ambience of this place. Driving in at night was whimsical with mushroom lights guiding the way. The room was artsy and fun. Breakfast was picture-worthy and the hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. This felt like a great starting point for our Costa Rica trip with a more authentic feel."

"We were only in Monteverde for one night, and this was a great B&B! Spacious and comfortable. Jenny made and served us a fantastic breakfast to start our day, too! Will definitely consider staying there again if and when we visit in the future."

"This was our first stop on our trip and it came highly recommended. We stayed in room 40 which was a bit of a hike to the restaurant and reception. The room was very quiet and the balcony and windows were spectacular. Walking up the hill to breakfast we saw plenty of entertaining wildlife including a coati family playing in the trees. The property was truly unbelievable. I should have paid closer attention to the eco part of the lodge. We prefer to stay in accommodations with air conditioning. It was very hot in the room. We kept the fan on but the screen doors were torn and we felt unsafe leaving them open overnight. The staff in the dining room were wonderful and extremely welcoming. They gave us tips of where to look for an eyelash viper. Our first night we ordered the dinner special and it was way too much food. They saved it for us and replated it the next night which we were so grateful for since our room didn’t have a fridge and we hated to waste so much food. They certainly went the extra mile. We booked one of the complementary hikes around the property and wish we had signed up for the others. We loved the pool
And hot tub and the grounds were really stunning. It is a bit of a drive if you plan to do activities in La Fortuna but the experience was incredible."
100% recomendado"
"Hotel room clean and spacious,
The property was beautiful and well kept.
And the staff was very kind and accommodating.
Breakfast was delicious ,
Property was just a short walk to downtown.
We loved our time at this wonderful hotel."
"This place is stunning! The pools and springs were a huge hit with our large group and the grounds are breathtaking. Beautiful view of the volcano and very easily accessible to all of the activities you would want to do in the area. The included breakfast was a gem with an omlett station and delicious plantains and local cuisine. We saw a toucan, sloth and so many other birds on the property."
"Our 2 bedroom villa was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, A/C worked great and we loved the private pool. They provide toiletries and hairdryers. There is a small kitchen area with a coffee maker and mini fridge, no microwave. The only thing we missed was not having a living room to hang out together in, but there is plenty of seating on the porch. Beware the doors lock automatically when you shut them so if you are going out on the porch or pool make sure to take your key. The grounds are absolutely amazing, so lush and beautiful and a perfect view of the volcano. We saw so many birds including a toucan in the trees right outside our villa. It is a bit of a walk from the lobby to the rooms as they are spread out across the property. That makes it feel very private, but if you need help getting around they can give you a ride in a golf cart. We enjoyed the free breakfast and one morning we had to leave before breakfast and the front desk got us to go breakfasts (we requested the night before). The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant the night we arrived. The food was delicious but very expensive. There is also food available at the pool which was very good and cheaper. The pool water is very warm, it felt so good! We took Ubers into La Fortuna and to various activities, it’s a short ride to get around and very affordable. The lush, spacious property feels very secluded, yet is still just a 15 minute uber ride to town."
