Don’t know how some of the hotels get 8 or 9 rating. Low bed, no air conditioning, dusty, fan didn’t work, faucet broke, no ice or drinks available, loud frogs. Secure entry, nice Chateau and friendly staff made up for some of it. My wife wasn’t impressed.

Un tres bon sejours au château bondon

Tres belle batise en cour de réfection. Par contre lit trop bas matelas a changer. Personnels tres professionnels .ont a tres bien manger au resto.serveur tres sympa. Parcontre le petit déjeuner en option omelette janbon fromage en plus sa fait un peu chère .ont ont et allez dans d'autres chambre d'hôte janbon,fromages et omelette sont comptés dans le petit déjeuner . Sinon nous avons passés un bon week-end

This chateau is not a special place apart for the garden. The rooms are big but not very nice, so is the bathroom. There is no shower, only hand shower. The amenities are very poor. Breakfast is a continental standard, and dinner less then standard. They didn't offer even a bottle of water in the room for free.

Mysigt med service

Vi fick ett varmt välkomnande och trivdes bra på detta lilla slott med restaurang. Bra service, god frukost (fransk standard av bra kvalité med färskpressad juice och fin yoghurt, bröd). Parken runt klingar Downton Abbey och terrassen var ljuv en varm kväll! Hotellet har all nödvändig service inkl dygnet om reception men är ändå litet och hemtrevligt. Rummen är genomgående blommiga med en lyxig känsla men sängarna är inte mjukare än nån annanstans. Kombinerad dusch och bad är lite svår att stå i pga halt, låg blandare och inget väggfäste. Onödigt svårt för den med dålig balans helt enkelt. Dubbla handfat mycket bra. Trevlig belysning med olika lägen. Kan varmt rekommendera detta Château till rimligt pris!

Bel endroit, bon confort mais 2 "bémols", nous avions loué 2 chambres, l'une des 2 était un peu exigüe pour un établissement de cette qualité et surtout avait un problème d'odeur d'eaux usées. Dans ce type d'hôtel, des toilettes indépendantes de la salle de bain, semble une prestation appréciable. Enfin se voir dire que prendre des œufs au petit déjeuner fait l'objet d'un supplément et les facturer effectivement semble déplacé et "petit bras"

"Pretentious" is probably the best adjective to sum up this establishment. The Chateau des Bondons is nicely appointed, but in our view grossly over priced. The room was none to big for the price which did not include breakfast. The menu at dinner looked & sounded wonderful, but much was "unavailable" and what we did have was really "absolutely nothing to write home about"! Indeed it consisted of cold duck, warm green beans and fried potatoes...but at a cost that we would have "winced at" in a top hotel in London! The Desserts too while pretty, were again twice what they were worth. The whole stay was grossly over priced, and needless to say, we did not stop for breakfast!
