"The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"This was literally the absolute worst hotel (really, it was more like a hostel) that I have stayed in either stateside or abroad. The property only allows you to communicate with them during two short periods daily around check-in and out. Their information indicates check in is not on the property. After needing to call for clarification, we were given a separate address that led us to the same location. There is no parking at the actual hotel because of construction. "Great place to stay, just off the village square, right next to the Mont Blanc Hotel, and two minutes walk from Le Chamois Télécabine. A quiet, calm and convenient location - especially for getting on the first lifts. Could do with refreshing the cutlery and crockery as a couple of items missing, but that is the worst it gets. The only word of warning, make sure you order the bedding and towels beforehand as they are not included in the base price. "

"A l’arrivé, pas de code d’entrée ni la clé. On a du appelé plusieurs fois pour obtenir cela. 1/2h plus tard, rentée dans l’appart, surprise, le lieu n’était pas nettoyé. St-Alban Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"This is a lovely hotel in a good location for the ski slopes (walking distance to the Bossonet lift even with skis and boots, but there is also the option of the free hotel shuttle to get down to the slopes, and then you get the village free ski bus to get back to the hotel at the end of the day if you want to). The hotel staff stand out as being particularly good. Extremely courteous, quick to action any issues, and always someone available to help. We had an unfortunate issue with the people in the neighbouring room to ours, but the reception staff were very quick to try and sort the problem or find an alternative solution. Valet parking in the hotel's car park was beneficial and worth the 18EUR per night charge to avoid having to find a parking space outside. Can't comment on the bar, breakfast or spa as didn't use any of these services. Ski rental was excellent, good equipment and friendly staff member. Rooms were very clean, with good facilities. Soundproofing between rooms is not great (we could clearly hear people in the rooms next to us) but that isn't a fault of the hotel. Overall a very good stay, the hotel is clearly popular and also appears to be popular with families as we saw lots of children around. Overall a very good staf"

"On check in told I had to pay for room as it wasn’t paid for. Paid again and then when checked back on bookings I had fully paid prior to arrival. I spoke to the lady on reception who asked me to come back in the morning for a refund as she was busy with a problem. Went back in the morning and provided her with receipts of both payments and she said she would get her superior to do it the next day. I have emailed and messaged through hotels.com and had no response. Shocking service for an error on their part. "
