Spectacular

Good residence for the family. We booked the top of the range suite, had 2 bathrooms. All the conveniences were there except a washing machine but fine for a stay less than a week. The property was very clean when we checked in and we returned it in a fairly clean state. The spa is good and the putside hot tub with views of the mountains is spectacular.

We had a lovely stay in the 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor of the residence. We picked a Mountain View and it was a stunning view over the mountains! The sofa bed in the apartment was very large and comfortable and so were the beds. Very bijou kitchen but was fine if not cooking much. Could have benefited from an oven. Had a Spar supermarket below but limited choice and quite expensive. Could have helped if the residence had its own bar and restaurant. Not sure it felt like a five star rated hotel. The area itself in April wasn’t brilliant for ski in ski out but I expect much better in peak season. We managed to ski out but not back as this lift was closed. The free shuttle bus was on time but was absolutely crammed full of people, even to the point you couldn’t get on when returning from the slopes to the hotel. A good 10-15 min walk into the main area of Flaine. We found it to be a little disappointing for places to eat or bars to have a drink. We ended up at the Rockypop hotel every evening for a drink. Not great for Apre ski if that is what you are after Or gourmet dining. Very limited choice.

Excellent base for a family skiing holiday! Flaine is not a particularly attractive resort but the skiing is very good and the Residence where we stayed was comfortable and well located. Ski shop, local supermarket, parking and restaurant all within the complex. Ski in/out. Would recommend.

We stayed here with our 1 and 3 year old kids. The apartment was immaculate and the facilities were ideal for us with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. There is a play area in the foyer and they provided us with a "baby pack", which consisted of a cot, high chair and changing mat. I would strongly recommend this place and would happily return with our 2 in future years.

Unacceptable for a 5 star property

Dear Pierre & Vacances Customer Service, I am writing to reiterate my disappointment and provide further crucial details regarding my recent stay at Résidence premium Les Terrasses d'Hélios from March 17th to March 21st, 2025. This was my third reservation at this hotel, as I have always appreciated the Grand Massif area and have had positive experiences at your establishment in the past. My booking was made in advance. Upon arrival on March 17th, I was informed that my room was not yet ready, which I understood. However, upon entering the apartment after receiving notification, I was immediately struck by a very strong and unpleasant odor of fish and other food emanating from the lounge area. Further inspection revealed a running dishwasher containing dirty cutlery and plates. Additionally, the cutlery and plates in the kitchen cupboards also had a noticeable smell of fish. The pervasive odor in the lounge was so severe that it rendered the space unusable. Throughout my four-night stay, I was unable to sit or relax in the lounge due to the offensive smell. I reported this issue to the reception desk and spoke with the manager. While he did offer an alternative room the following evening (my third day), this room was located on the second floor, lacked the pleasant views I had in my original room, and was smaller in size. For these reasons, and due to the disruption of moving so late into my short break, I declined this offer. As I was traveling alone on this occasion, hoping

Dejligt sted

Så smukt et sted højt oppe i bjergene med flotte vandrestier. Der er gode aktiviteter for børn i gåafstand og et skønt pool/spa område. Vi boede i en super skøn lejlighed med god plads og et fint lille køllen så man ikke behøver tage ud at spise hver dag. Ligger en lille times kørsel fra Mont Blanc. Vi kommer igen!

Mitigé par la situation et les nuisances sonores

L’établissement est très bien, propre, confortable . Le personnel est très agréable. Il est situé proche de la station de Flaine à 12 minutes des Carroz d’Araches. L’été il y a des navettes entre Cluses et Flaine. Il y a un arrêt proche du Pierre et Vacances. Elles s’arrêtent assez tôt en fin de journée, il est donc impossible d’imaginer passer la soirée en dehors de l’établissement (à moins de reprendre sa voiture). Personnellement, nous pensions que l’établissement était plus proche d’arrache la Frasse, des Carroz qui sont des lieux plus authentiques, plus montagnards que Flaine qui est trop bétonnée à notre goût (pour skier c’est peut-être moins gênant visuellement que l’été sans neige…). Nous étions deux dans un logement pour 4 personnes. Il était très bien équipé, très propre. En revanche, malgré que nous avions demandé une vue montagne et une chambre au calme, 2 mois avant notre arrivée, par message et par téléphone (72h avant), on nous a placé juste au dessus de la réception (appartement 207). La réception nous a dit que c’était parce que nous venions du dimanche au dimanche…Nous avons subi d’importantes nuisances sonores tard le soir et dès 5h00 du matin (livraisons, fumeurs qui sortent et s’expriment très fort, poubelles, arrivées, départs etc.) et nous étions face au chantier du nouveau complexe Belambra avec de gros travaux (taille de pierre, terrassement, livraison, camions chantier etc.)…Nous sommes repartis encore plus fatigués qu’à notre arrivée et 10h de route

Skiing holiday with young children

Brilliant accommodation for ski in ski out holiday. Great facilities. Spar shop and ski hire and restaurant underneath hotel. Lovely kids area and fireplace in the reception. Apartments well equipped and modern. Wonderful swimming pool with sauna, steam room and outdoor jacuzzi. Will definitely return.

Séjour hyper agréable, lieu incroyable très bien situé. Espace détente parfait et très propre. Appartement impeccable très bien agencé et confortable.
