"We loved the beauty and character and decor of the hotel and particularly our room. Staff were exceptionally helpful. I walk with a cane and our check-in young man noticed (i should have noted his name but he wore eye glasses) and moved us from a second floor room to the fabulous first floor room. "I rarely write reviews unless a place sticks out. I am visiting friends in Lima but needed a night to myself because I wanted to go for a long run for marathon training. The area is great and I was able to easily run 15k on a great running path with so many other runners. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond for me. They greeted me warmly. "The hotel was wonderful! I went with my daughter and sister, the have breakfast at the restaurant and also room service, everything was walkable, beautiful restaurants around, super friendly staff, I love everything, I definitely recommend."

"What a wonderful place! It was great to meet Janet and Bernie, the hosts. They are really kind people that make “home” feel like exactly where they are. It’s hard to do this when traveling (I love adventure, but having a place that feels homey away from home is irreplaceable). I will likely be back to Peru and will stay here again! "We stayed 4 nights. We had 2 rooms; my wife and I in one, daughter and granddaughters in the other. Both were roomy and comfortable! The staff is super nice and helpful; they went out of their way to help with whatever we asked. The property is quiet and great sleeping.
