"This was my second stay here, and I loved it. The dorm is well maintained, and there is a lot of room for luggage with a little desk area next to the bed. There is also a downstairs common area and tables outside to sit, which means there is plenty of space to relax. The location is very convenient, close to great restaurants and a short walk to transportation."

"C’était trop bien. L’hôte est vraiment aux petits soins et attentionnée. Elle donne des conseils sur des endroits à visiter. Elle est également soucieuse de la bonne santé de ses hôtes. Elle est gentille et aimable. Si vous un petit moment, faites un tour dans son restaurant !"

"Me and my sister really enjoyed our stay here. It was a quiet and nice place to rest after a long day touring around. We liked the options for coffee in the morning and the freedom to use the kitchenette area :)"

"The staff were amazing. We were greeted by an employee who helped us check in, serving us a cappuchino and croissant while we completed the necessary online forms. The checkout was done through a machine (similar to our hotel in Tokyo). An employee saw us starting the process and quickly came over to help us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful - certainly made our stay delightful.
The hotel was near Kyoto station, though we regretted walking from the station and dragging our suitcases. We took a taxi for 1900 yen at the end of our stay.
The breakfast was amazing - so many choices and honestly, I enjoyed everything that I tried. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. I enjoyed being able to control all of the lights from my nightstand. I wish the shower had been a few degrees hotter, but that is really nitpicking."
"Hotel in great location, across from the train station. Room is very clean and spacious with all amenities needed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended this hotel."
"The Nohga Hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 21 day trip to Japan. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Kyoto. Great location and hats off to everyone working there. What a delight."
