The Place has been tastefully done and some rare historic photographs, both from India and all over the world, adorn the reception area. We hope to make this resort our place of stay during our annual visits to this area"

"Loved that we saw no other tourists here and in the city walking around. The staff were great and this hotel was well priced as a stopgap between Thekaddey and Kochin. We stayed here to be close to visit the Bird Sanctuary. Walking around town was fascinating and lots of stores giving a glimpse into every day life of locals. "

"Our 4 nights at Amritara were the best experience so far in India. The hospitality and friendliness is outstanding. From communicating with the manager to book to the friendly reception we received by Harikrishna to the delicious food Sunny cooked for us twice a day and the lovely housekeeping ladies, this was a highlight for us. The tents are beautiful, decorated with heavy teak furniture, comfortable bed and great balcony chairs, we had huge windows to view the river and the lush landscape....
