We were on our honeymoon, and when we arrived the bath was poured and filled with salts and petals, swan towels with petals and flowers decorated the bed, and there were candles in the bathroom. What a lovely arrival! Having the private pool is a decadence we are now addicted to; the pool area was amazing with a huge cabana and outdoor shower and toilet. "Every staff member is friendly and helpful. Maria is the first person we met and she gave a fabulous welcome. Highly recommend this place to friends who travel solo because it is so safe. The pool is so relaxing,the bathroom toiletries are great quality and we slept so well in the comfortable bed. Breakfast was good too.Very pleas we chose Akaya to end our holiday on a high note"

"Everything about this hotel is amazing— the service was attentive and effective and the accommodations are so beautiful. The private pool provided such a lovely way to unwind and spend time outside. The location is a little isolated, but they have a shuttle they generously allow patrons to use, which helps! The restaurant is the best food I’ve ever had, highly recommend!"

"Loved the location, the rooms were so spacious, bed was very comfortable, bath had shower in it which was hard to get in and out - could ne difficult for older people less stable. Washing machine was a bonus, self contained kitchen with large fridge, microwave, clean cooking utensils and water filter.
