False alarm at 2.30am not only not welcome but not managed well by staff member. Food only average. Decor lovely. Big car park. The carpet was threadbare in places; the corridor and our room 223 had paint flaking off in places; the curtains were in need of replacement and were tattily drawn which looked a mess. The bathroom only had one narrow shelf above the toilet which meant there was nowhere to put your toiletries. Finally thought paying £10 per night for car...
