"This property was lovely. We booked it as a last minute ‘we need a room tonight’, and it accommodated us well. They are clearly going thru renovations- we were looking for a yellow building and it is now dark green. Our room was large but a bit outdated. The air conditioning was wonderful! "Only used it as a base for a very short football trip but it was spot on. Near the station, good price, comfortable bed, decent breakfast. best of all when we got back after the decent nearby restaurants were closed reception was able to sell us a bottle of wine and big bag of chili crisps!"

"We were so disappointed with this hotel. It is NOT near Aalen. It needs so much work. It looks like it might have been busy at some point but it feels like a ghost hotel. Our room had one small comforter. No towels. No glasses. 2 pillows. A refrigerator that did not work. The washer dryer area for the hotel is dirty and pathetic. "This hotel exceeded in every way. A gem. Very clean, family run. Same family also runs a great restaurant next door. Hotel is newer and very clean, great breakfast. We loved the place. "Countryside hotell in gorgeous surroundings. The rooms are clean, spacious and many rooms have access to terraces. We used the swimming pool which was excellent and well maintained. "In terms of interior design, the best hotel in the town by a long way. Lots of interesting materials used with a bit of a chic-recycle vibe, buffet breakfast was excellent, clean and wide range of choice. As is often the way now, some of the younger staff are a little bit aloof and shall we say unfocused on your experience, so check in and restaurant service can require your patience, it's generational, so you can't hold it against them. "

"The hotel is very quaint and the hostess was very nice. The room was great we were on the third floor so going up and down the stairs was hard on my pregnant wife but once up there we had a view to one of the towers from the room. There is no ac so if it is hot during your stay that is something to consider. We had the window open all night and it was perfect temperature. Would definitely stay here again. Easy walk to the altstadt. "
