The owner is a woman with a big heart
I stayed several times at this place when traveling to Ao Nang in the past years. The reason for that, besides its great location, cleanliness or comfy bed, was the amazing staff.
The owner, this thai woman with big soul, took so much care of my sick friend during her staying there (I had to leave her there, by herself), almost like a mother. She cooked for her the food she needed and she personally sent it to her room. She also arranged a very good fair for a personal transfer just for her, all the way from Ao Nang to Surathani airport when she recovered.
Will always return with pleasure in this place.

Lovely owner, clean/spacious room. The place is quiet enuff, but close to bars & restaurants. Walking distance to Ao nang beach (5 mins); walk to others & stretch your legs...

Total chaos
Very bad experience. When we arrived we find out that our room has been given away to another customer that had complained about their room. They offer us that room that they had complained about. We check it and it is in bad shape and has twin beds and our booking is for double bed. We find out they have no double beds left after they gave away our room.
Then we require double bed and they change our order to family room, which has double bed and extra bed. We go to eat straight after that, come back to hotel and find out a/c doesn't work in that room, then we found out toilet seat doesn't flush either, we complain to them again. We need a/c and working toilet. First response is that we don't know how to use the a/c... well after some arguing they come to check and agree it doesn't work and that toilet doesn't work either. Then we get third room. This one has working a/c, but at this point our mood is already quite bad. Furthermore that room has invasion or ants. Maybe that's normal for every room this hotel had. Sleeping is quite difficult with those ants biting few times during night and a/c being super noisy. Luckily our booking is only for one night and we take very early boat to get to next place. Overall the service was very bad and reception very rude.

Our money were stolen from their safe.
Before going to island trip, we asked the owner whether it is save to store our valuables in their room safe.
The Lady Boss told us its absolutely safe. We trusted her and keep our money, passport & watches in
the safe. Unfortunately on our return on the evening, lots of our money are gone. We reported the
incident both at the local police station and the Tourist Police. Apparently their cleaner lady who was on
her 1st day reporting to work got the keys from the daughter of the hotel and stole our money. By right,
the owner should pay us back since we asked her and she said firmly is very safe. Krabi was our first stop
whereby we were to proceed to Phuket. Our money gone and we have not got enough for our trips.
It is a very sad and bad experience for our family.

그냥저냥 무난합니다~
가격대비 괜찮아요~화장실이 베란다에 있어서 당황하고 불편했어요ㅠ 화장실에 개미도 다녔어요..방에서는 못보다가 마지막날 침대에서 개미가..ㅠㅠ 하지만 나름 깔끔하고 가격대비 괜찮아요. 콘센트도 꽂으면 헐렁해서 좀만 움직이면 빠져 떨어지고 와이파이도 그렇게 잘되진않았지만 해변까지 거리도 괜찮고 바로 앞에 맥도날드 스타벅스 세븐 등 있어서 생활하기도 좋았습니다~

Fint hotell om du har tight budget
Det är ett helt okej funktionellt hotell. Ytterst billigt, är du på en tight budget passar det perfekt. Läget är superbra. Personlen mycket trevlig! Inga kackerlackor eller liknade allt var liksom okej men inte världens renaste heller.

Einfaches Hotel in guter Lage
Das Aonang Grand Inn ist ein Hotel mit einfachen, aber sauberen Zimmern. Das einzige nervige in meinem Zimmer war der an der Wand angebrachte manchmal laut brummende Trafo. In der Nacht habe ich deswegen extra den Schlüssel der die Elektrik aktiviert aus dem Schlüsselfach herausgenommen, dann war Ruhe. Es war kühl genug, um auch ohne AC schlafen zu können. Das englisch sprechende Personal war sehr nett und wirklich sehr hilfsbereit.
Für eine Nacht ist das Hotel o.k., es war ja auch recht günstig. Wäre ich jedoch länger in Ao Nang geblieben, hätte ich mir allerdings ein etwas besser ausgestattetes Zimer gesucht. Ach ja: egal wo in der Welt ich unterwegs bin: je einfacher das Hotel ist, um so besser ist das WLAN. So auch hier.

Great deal!
Very friendly and very helpful staff and clean room. Hotel is right in the center of the city so shops and resteraunts are all near by and within walking distance. Couldn't ask for a better deal despite that they don't offer any shampoo.

Great service and location
Hotel staff was very friendly. Location is great, 5 minutes walk to ao nang beach and to get the boats to railay and phra nang. Many restaurants around. Make sure you do the 4 island tour which can be bought at the hotel.

Great staff, and great location
This hotel was a great choice. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. The room was clean and well taken care of, and despite being situated in the heart of where the action is, it was surprisingly quiet a night, allowing for a good nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, easy walk to beach, rooms fine
The location is the best part of the hotel. It is an easy walk to the beach and on the main road, and all the taxi/bus drivers new where it was. The service was not great, but we did not need them very much. I did not like that they would not show the rooms before we paid as this is typically a bad sign, but fortunately the rooms were fine. They are relatively big, clean, have working air condition/lights/hot water, etc. Nothing fancy or luxurious about this hotel but nothing bad either. I didn't use the pool (was there a pool?) but the beach was so close I wouldn't need to. I would use this hotel again.

Hotel room was dark and not so nicely decorated but it was clean and there was hot water. Staff was super nice and helpful.I did like the location because it was just a five minute walk from the center, but still quiet. Next to the hotel you can find laundry service and a nice place to eat breakfast.

Great Location - Badly in Need of Major Renovation
The best thing I can say is the location was very convenient to the center of Anong Beach. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. That said, the hotel sorely needs a major renovation. The beds were rock hard, the sheets and blankets were well worn. The ante room to the bathroom was a steam room because the a/c exhausts into it. The bathroom fixtures were old and in need of replacement. The shower was right above the toilet which meant everything in the bathroom got soaked. The towell rakcs were made of plastic and falling out of the wall.
