"This is the first five star review I've ever left for a hotel in Crete. The Lady who liked after us during the stay was amazingly kind, helpful and generous. The property is gorgeous and the apartments are incredibly well furnished & arranged. The pictures do not do them justice. The beach is literally across the road and the town square is a 4 minute walk. Many good restaurants just steps away. This should be on the top of everyone's list of places to stay when visiting Kalamaki."

"We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from main areas of the town. "

"Mi sono trovata davvero bene in questa struttura , molto gentili e attenti . Unica pecca che il portone d’ingresso principale non ha la serratura ed è libero . Al piano di sopra troverete la porta che dà accesso ai appartamenti con un codice di sicurezza . "

"We wanted a place to call home for the days we were on Crete. Vigla Suites was conveniently located in the central part of the island. The apartment felt like living in a home, not a hotel, for our days on the island. The space was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. I already told them we will book with them again when we return to Crete."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. Pepy (owner) is lovely and very helpful. The accommodation was great, and the private pool and patio was excellent. Having the ability walk out at any time and enjoy the sun without having to think about if you'll get space / how busy it will be etc was fantastic. "We loved the sea view apartments! We were a bit dubious at first as the first floor is a bit run down, however where the apartments are is very clean and well kept. It was in a great location and the room had everything you could need, especially if you were staying for longer than a few days. "Booked 1-night for March 2024. Amazing location in the Old Town just steps away from shops, bars, restaurants etc. Everything inside the property was pretty much perfect, the room, the beds, the facilities, the patio, the view! . So many little touches from the host that made it special. Definitely 10/10."
