"Charming, quirky place, more than adequate for a one night stop over. Pleasant room with nice, recently refitted bathroom - sadly very hot/stuffy during recent hot weather. EV chargers did not work for me unfortunately. Food rather uninspiring and underwhelming, otherwise would stay again."

"We had a gorgeous stay at Bridge Cottage, such a welcome pitstop if you're walking the South Downs Way or visiting the local area. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, Miranda is a wonderful host and the location is perfect to enjoy some of the local pubs. We'd highly recommend and will be back! "

"The hotel is charming, and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. Parking spaces are limited, but thankfully we were able to park. It's well located for shopping on the High Street, or for the short riverside walk.] Our room was the classic double, which was bijou, and perfectly adequate. The restaurant offering was good."
