"The stay was excellent! We were bummed we didn't get to enjoy the breakfast due to an early flight but we will definitely stay again. The room is always nice and it's very quiet. We really enjoy staying there."

"The hotel is very quiet and the room was great the staff was friendly. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because the water pressure in the shower was so low it was dangerous... trying to get rinsed off was next to impossible and the shower floor would get so slippery because there wasn't enough water pressure to wash the soap down the drain...you were better off taking a sponge bath in the sink. The other issue we had was Saturday around lunchtime we went down to the bar and restaurant and the female bartender working was not efficient or attentive..she took our order left never came back my drink..I finally got up and went to the bar after about 10 minutes of waiting and asked for my drink she stated she was running around taking everyones order (there was only my husband and myself and 1 other table with 4 people) I stated to her she forgot and she agreed...we had ordered a ceaser salad and a sandwich which took an excessive amount of time to get. (30-40 minutes)"

"1. The parking rate of $35 a day is ridiculous 2. The front desk staff were very rude, both at check in and check out. 3. The toilets would flush - had to call them twice 4. Faucet in the bathroom leaked. Spilled all over the floor"

"First time in hermosa beach for our anniversary .i called few day prior spoke with a what seem young women said valet parking is $47 early check in was free as soon as 12. Early check-in was free No such thing as valet parking tho Parking was free after waiting for a hour for it The room looked clean but the arm chair was stained, white curtains stain, the shower head is vintage super cool but it’s pretty nasty since the shower head is completely green from copper , mold something The restroom tub has a wrap around curtain since the wall isnt lined or tile. Felt tight no way u can stand inside the tube and not have the curtain touching you. Not one fire alarm No paper towels in the kitchen 1 free water bottle 1 creamer for one coffee lol Reservations were for two And lastly the noise -ROOM 101 is zero privacy right next to the front desk Paper thin walls , 2-3 inches from the front door gap let’s u hear everything Windows are very outdated A stick is used for locking the window No noise control People were sitting in the front of our windows (the ocean view ) pretty much all night so sleeping was difficult, lack of privacy. No ac , so we had to leave the windows slightly open Great location just needs a lot of work on tne actually building"
