"I loved this unique hotel, it was a tick off the bucket to stay in the rainforest! The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent and great value for money. It is very easy to get to the animal centres and I was still able to access the internet so could order grab taxis. I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray!

"Much better area of Lahad Datu, compared to town closer to airport. Lots of small shops and a good supermarket below hotel. Area feels relatively safe and we enjoyed the Night Market for dinner (although we were very much a spectacle for locals who are not used to tourists). "Room was fantastic, Host was great as we had accidentally booked the wrong night but he quickly organised for the room to be ready. Had excellent facilities and comfortable beds. Pool area was amazing. Host was also extremely helpful with information about the area."
