"Our room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The only issue with the room was the street noise. We were on the 3rd floor and it was very noisy well past midnight.
Housekeeping is a little erratic. We never received bottled water or clean cups/glasses after the first night of a four night stay.
The onsite restaurant Carnegie Deli is really good. We ate several meals there and the food was always tasty and plentiful."

"I've stayed at Pod 51 several times and appreciate the fact that it provides exactly what I need—an affordable clean room and a comfortable bed to lay down on the few hours that I am in the room. I am usually in NYC for work, and am spending long hours at the office or catching up with colleagues over dinner. I do prefer one of the inner rooms (tends to be a little quieter), over street side, but its NYC. And thank you to the staff for making check-in and -out a friendly experience."

"When we checked in, the clerk informed us of a continental breakfast. They promote it as if it is included with your stay. Beware; it is not. They charge 35 a person for the most basic spread that would be free in most hotels. Soggy eggs, bacon and bagels. .. not even a waffle maker.
They purposely don’t charge you at your table, instead asking for your room number. The AC barely works in the room. Better off at the Hilton Garden where we stayed in January."
