"We stayed in a teeny-tiny cabin. Nice shower with nice products. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice bed! Two burner stovetop and mini fridge. Fire pit and picnic bench in front of each cabin. Just a few steps to Johnson’s Beach. Just a few blocks from Safeway and restaurants. La Bodeguita Mexican restaurant is a MUST. Property manager Chris is very kind and helpful. "

"Our stay at Surrey was delightful! We were welcomed warmly and immediately felt comfortable and cared for. Bailey arranged for us to switch tents graciously and with ease. Oli was especially kind and treated us to a delicious peanut butter cookie from the cafe. She later brought us a sample of an appetizer from a recipe that she was trying and it was such a treat! We luxuriated in the hot tub and enjoyed a fire in our fire pit. I would definitely recommend a stay here."

"Nice hotel, great location. When we arrived the desk staff was withering the abuse of a possibly drunk, nightmarish Karen and the staff handled her childlike tantrum with admirable patience and diplomacy. Hate to see people treated that way, especially in front of my kids. "

Upon arrival, they greeted us with a "splash" of welcome wine and drove us to our room via golf cart. "Great location right off the main exit into downtown Windsor. Walking distance to lots of food options. Super quiet on a summer Sunday. Felt like we were the only guests there. Room was nice and comfortable, slightly worn furniture, and carpet had a smell like it needed to be shampooed, but didn’t bother us for a one-night stay. Indoor pool is nice for families - shallow pool. No hot tub. Easy garage parking. Restaurant is closed on Sundays, so we didn’t get to try it. Would definitely stay...
