"Loud! Close to the freeway and people were up until late banging on floors and opening doors."

"cut down on the freebreeze, the room was unbearable"

"Excellent breakfast selection"

"It was very clean and well maintained"

"It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. The location was also great for what we needed. The bed was really comfy too. All in all, it was a great place to stay on the river."

"Nice, clean place. But cold…seemed like they were saving money on heat. Especially in the morning."

"Clean, updated room. Helpful, friendly staff, Better breakfast than most "included" breakfasts. Stall shower rather than tub."

"The Stavrand is a beautiful property nestled in the redwoods just a few minutes walk from downtown Guerneville. The front desk and dining room staff were friendly and helpful. We brought kayaks, for which we were shown a safe place for storage. My disappointments were: (1) the swimming pool was quite cold, and the jacuzzi was not very hot and had no operative jets, (2) housekeeping did not come clean our room during our 2-night stay, and (3) the room, though lovely, had no real separation of bed...

"They changed their breakfast and entertainment venues from the time we registered til the time we arrived. No movie night and breakfast was minimal."
