"I live only one hour away from Little River but wanted to stay a few nights to do some fishing without having to make the drive every day, so being right across the street from the boat ramp was super convenient! The hotel was nice. I didn't have the breakfast and I didn't try the indoor pool so I can't speak on either of those. The bed was very comfortable with soft pillows. The 40' Samsung TV is on a movable mount. The shower has the wide curtain rods and good pressure with really hot...

"The staff was excellent. We had a great time and loved every minute of it. We had 2 chairs and an umbrella set up in the beach for us. For 2 days with our name on it, it was just wonderful. So I highly recommend a Avista for your next retreat. I know that this is our go to place."

"We arrived late on a Thursday & were assigned a room on the first floor with a view of the patio pool area. In the morning we asked to move to a higher floor & landed on the Third floor with a lovely view! Traveling from CT, this is what we looked forward to all winter. A room with a patio and view of the beach where we could relax & relish the whole scene. Best Western Ocean Sands delivered! The morning breakfast had many options and was a great way to start the day. The prompt was very clean...

"Wasnt told that the balconies were not able to be used due to construction...even as I checked in, no one let me know anything. Not to mention I had someone from staff trying to enter my room at 9:30am as he thought I wasn't there...literally knocked and immediately tried opening the door...thank god the latch was locked, otherwise...he would've walked in on me.....not very happy honestly "
