"I booked for 3 nights. I was given room 407. It was very noisy. There was a lot of banging of doors in the night. The doors are heavy and make a noise when they shut. The floors are wooden and noisy when other travellers are about. I complained and was transferred to room 207, which was better. The staff said that room 407 and the rooms nearby were underneath the central heating system and that might be contributing to the noise. I was there on holiday and paying quite a lot for what I...

"The main reason I booked here was location in old Montreal. Walking distance to the Basilica. However, there is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow and dark. The area is very loud and early in the morning the noise always woke us up. I would not recommend this to anyone."

"The location was superb! We are a family of 4 and only had about 30 hours in Montréal and wanted to make the most of it without having to stay far from old town. The sites were super close and our kids had a lot of fun. We were in town for a concert and getting to and from the Bell Center was only a $12 Uber away. "Hotel is excellent. Gray has put together a great group of properties and Le Petite is outstanding. The property of course is great. Rooms are definitely not small. Clean, fresh and very nice always. Coffee is available all day which is a lovely touch. Location is excellent, walkable everywhere and great restaurants and coffee houses are so close. This is another favourite property."

"Very dirty place. My bed had a bunch of long hair. In the dresser someone left their socks no one bothered to remove. Shower drain was clogged I had to stand in a pool of gross water. Big cracks under the door you will hear everything all night as people walking by, slamming doors… room has no air conditioning therefore it was very hot. The manager of the hotel was very nice but managing cleanliness is a huge flaw."
