"The staff were all friendly,inviting and hard working, the room was basic but perfect for us, comfy bed,was warm and adequate for our needs. The evening meal was lovely as was the breakfast and reasonably priced. If your one of those snobs who run fingers along skirting boards or delve into the various crevices in bathrooms then don't stay but if your like us ...enjoy a nice warm comfortable room, happy staff and excellent food then the regent is perfect for you. "Very easy experience from booking as great communication from the owner. This self catering rental has everything you need from a comfortable lounge to a fully equipped kitchen, I even cooked a full English breakfast! Surprisingly quiet considering it was on the second floor of a 3 story block accessible up 2 flights of concrete stairs therefore would not be suitable for less able bodied people. Taxis cost roughly £5 into town, however, the local bus stop is close by. Ample off street parking...

"This hotel is definitely what you pay for but nothing like the reviews I read yes it's basis but on the plus side it's bed clean and comfortable staff friendly and helpful area is 10 /15 minutes walk to town would stay here again if coming back to Doncaster "

"The bars where well stocked with a good variety of beers and wines. You also had a choice of two restaurants to dine from. Plenty of parking spaces to choose from. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was great, again good variety and choice to suit your requirements. All in all, good value for money and I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone."
