The location is close to many of the beloved shrines and temples. Lots of transportation options with access to city bus and subway. Lots of walking paths to explore the Higashiyama district. "Great location near Main Street but set back enough to be quiet. Room was very quiet. Super comfortable beds. Nice deep bathtub. Breakfast was fantastic- so much variety. To name just a few: miso soup, salmon, yogurt, eggs, pastries, fried rice, plain rice, make your own noodle soup, cereal, pickled cabbage, natto, bread. Only complaint was coffee wasn’t the best, and would have liked brewed tea instead of tea bags."
