Friendly team of staff led by Andrew who went out of his way to be provide any assistance we needed. More information needs to be provided during the check-in process about the hotel policies on hot water, cleaning and facilities timings to avoid misunderstandings. The restaurant manager was most helpful and the food served was freshly made and tasty. There were some flys in the restaurant which could have been avoided by plugging in an insect repellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. The gym was disappointing as all the cardio equipment did not work and was not cleaned regularly. The massages at the Spa were excellent and the swimming pool was clean.

Horrified this hotel is trading. PJ Princess Regency...AKA Rustic leisure pll.... Surrounded in un kept what can only be described as swamp land (hotel pond) pigeon poop all over the balcony, along with suspected rat droppings. Balcony furniture pulled out of near by skip. Room smelt like train station public toilets from the 80s. Staff asleep in reception. Pool.... well again the two sunbeds were also skip fodda, sweat stained and god knows what else... the pool was terrible. Broken, missing tiles sharp edges and broken and missing gully drain covers. There was even bare electrical wires in the pool This place shouldn't be taking bookings. It is a health hazard to anyone who stays there. My wife and i managed 4 hours and had to leave. I will add it was dark on arrival and as soon as it was day light the realisation hit us.... its was the hotel from hell.... currently awaiting tour operator to do the right thing.... reimburse me and strike off Rustic leisure lip. Currently awaiting Expedia to deal with my complaint

Terrible.. requested additional key. Refused. AC didnt work. Informed. They couldnt do. Only air coming. No cold air. Always money oriented. Try to charge the money maximum. Paid for the meals separately. Still charged again. Double paid.

Rooms are roomy and clean. Ac not working properly called reception 3 times no solid answer and resolution. Wifi Sucks speed on kbps. This is 2019. We had very uncomfortable night because of poor as temperature was 35 plus.

Great staff, superb service

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, particularly for Sandrima and Vishnu. sandrima's local knowledge was really helpful and we could not fault the immaculate hotel or friendly staff

Nice hotel with small pool and good staff. Be prepared to pay more than usual (for India) at restaurant and for 10 mins auto ride then ferry to fort Cochin.

The hotel itself was reasonable, and the front desk staff were helpful. However, the whole experience was brought down by the restaurant staff. Endless delays and confusion let to a very frustrating experience. Tired and hungry travelers (with children) do not want to wait for more than an hour for their meal to arrive, and in the wrong order. We truly tried our best to not be bothered by it, but it was not anywhere near acceptable.

A good place.

The staff are very sweet and nice. The place is quite clean and they took good care of us. The challenge here is of you’re expecting a pool where you can really hang out and spend some time, this is not the place. There are very few lounge chairs and no service at the pool. The only other challenge was the bed was too soft for us. Overall it’s a good place.

Run down. Not worth the price.

For the price, this hotel was not worth it. Features like Wi-Fi and air con didn't work well. Breakfast was mostly Indian food, little options for westerners. The pool was full of tiny bugs that left me itchy and the hotel itself looks very rundown and is in the middle of no where. Plus I had the worst experience ever at the spa - do not get a massage there!

This is a 20 USD per night property

I stay in 50 hotels per year. This is a former 3 star hotel turned into a bad 2 star. Basic Electrical problems, doors not locking, incompetent staff from another era. Obviously management knows since they feel the need to promote non genuine reviews

Lovely hotel, great staff, relaxing

We were disappointed that there was a misunderstanding when we booked, we thought we had the room for two days. We loved the hotel. The wonderful staff made our stay comfortable. They went out of their way to help us. We did return and stay one more day just resting and relaxing. It is a bit far to travel, however to just get away and relax it is perfect. It was peaceful and quiet. What would have been useful would be to have different pamphlets on tours and sight seeing that we could have done. Maybe a display stand for customers.

Lovely stay in Cochin

It was a pleasure staying there. The friendly staff did everything to please us during our stay, e.g. organizing trips. Great food in the restaurant, room service worked at every time. Big room with lovely balcony and view. Fresh and clean pool.

3 days at PJ PRINCESS Vypin Kerala

PJPRINCESS what a lovely setting, very peaceful, great pool with peddle boat around the lake, table and tennis We had a view of all from a massive balcony just lovely photos in advert are exact. Train station exit a man offering tuk and taxi asked price no reply you know the type, he had something to do with station tuks and told drives to charge 800 rupee, we refused and tried to do a deal with driver, the man was not having this so the tuk tuk left, next one was going to do the same, I was furious with the man and told him to butt out severe times as my I was speaking to the driver, he continued until I threatened him with station police, the driver said to come outside the station and we dealt at 400 giving him 500 for his patience. Whilst at the hotel the staff would order and ask the price before we got in it was 80rs to the ferry which cost 6 rs to Cochin fort. However the cheapest tuk we could get going back was 120rs. Leaving after 3 lovely days by night train meant we had a long wait so we asked if we could pay to keep our room for the last day, Micheal front of house manager really nice and helpful always with anything, well travelled and educated agreed to speak to his manager. As the hotel was not so busy not only did we get our room till 7pm, but it was a gift! The food is very nice and the chef very accommodating, also it was much nicer than food which was more expensive in Cochin. Downside the hotel has no alcohol licence,be discreat T.Y.O

Good service!

We were lucky to Get a "the lighthouse" room, and enjoyed the facilities a lot. Nice staff as well. But remember that This Hotel is a bit away from everything, and you can't walk to the beach allthough it Looks like it on Google EARTH :-)

Good hotel

Allowed us to check in early at 5am for a small fee and upgraded us to a superior room. Room excellent very large with large balcony. Nice clean pool. Easy to get to Cochin via ferry 2 rupees about 5 minutes across and very frequent. Not much to do around hotel and no alcohol served. Long distance Taxis expensive from hotel much cheaper from tourist information office at fort.
