"Though dated the property has an aged charm and furnishings that reminds us baby boomers of our youth. Everything like the faucets, outlets, lighting doors etc., but not the hair dryer, works in the unit, which you usually only find in the Hilton set of hotels and up. It has sufficient electrical outlets for your devices, the water is immediately hot, the plumbing works great, the temps are comfortable and the unit was maintained and clean. "The air conditioner in the room was not working and had the nights not been cool we would have been very uncomfortable. We were on the bottom floor and left the porch door open to cool the room down until another guest tried to walk into our room. Quickly redirected him and shut the door and windows and locked everything up. Otherwise the room was neat and clean. The breakfast was awesome. "When you first get there you get a little worried, it looks sketchy outside but was apartment style rooms and very nice inside! I would stay again."

"I was surprised that the fitness room was offsite. But the staff at the hotel was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. I also liked that when I called the front desk, somebody answered and the phone in the room worked. The last couple places (not this hotel chain) I have stayed either the phone didn’t work to call the front desk or no one answered."

I asked if there were extra blankets in the room, she said without looking up, you would have to ask for one. No further response from her. "Staff scolded me for being in the lobby at 5:00 in the morning after I just got done doing work in my room on my laptop. The breakfast set up was one giant waffle dehydrated oatmeal cereal and a small cup container orange juice in a pitcher and cut up whole muffins."

"It was a very walkable area with many close restaurants nearby. The room was clean but had a ridiculously expensive minibar in the room so bring snacks and drinks so you will not be tempted. I asked for a late check out due to my cruise time and was granted only one hour. I do not suggest this property for pre-cruise accommodations."

"Great stay. The host was very responsive and space was beautiful. More than sufficient laundry facilities, privacy, and lovely location. The only drawback was parking. If you have no need for a vehicle, perfect otherwise you may need to hunt down a spot some days. It really depends on time of day and day of week. Street parking but it's free so that is a bonus. I met some really great fellow travelers as well."
