"Amazing stay in a real castle! Staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable. We had a lovely meal at night, and the breakfast was included and delicious. After breakfast there was a tour of the castle. We learned so much about the castle and the area. Highly recommended. "

"Wonderful stay hotel full of character with lots of little hidden areas to just sit and chill. Very remote but if looking for a relaxing time ideal place. Also had red squirrel sanctuary on site. "

"This hotel was ideal for my 2 night stay in Penrith. The room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and robes/slippers available for the pool and/or spa. Pool and gym opening hours were good and the gym is well equipped. Staff in all areas were helpful and friendly. The restaurant menu offered a varied selection and I ate there on both evenings. The atmosphere overall was relaxing. It was an ideal place to stay for my first visit to Penrith and I'd be happy to stay again. "
