"Great location if you want to be on the quiet outskirts of the hustle. The tram drops you within sight of the front door, so it's super easy to get to Edinburgh proper via public transport. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance - however the posted hours are more suggestions than actual hours. Some didn't open when expected. Some were closed before posted closing times. If you are a night owl, you'd best eat early, hit the market for late night munchies or be prepared to walk to Storries...

"Photos of this place are mainly of larger rooms. I booked a single standard room but ultimately stayed in two different rooms. The first room's bathroom was down a winding staircase from the bedroom. The room itself was very tiny. Because I have arthritis in my leg, I requested a different room. The staff deserve praise for their helpfulness and friendliness in helping me switch rooms. The second room was larger and bathroom was in the same room (the good). "The food for dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was fabulous! The rooms were tired although the bed was great some of the furniture needed updating. There was noise all night from a boiler (I think) which kept me awake. Overall a pleasant stay but a bit too pricey for the room stay."

"It was very confusing checking in, make sure you try to message the host and check the pdf they sent you before check in. I don't like that they make you and all your guests scan your passport in to check in. Best part of our room was that we had a back entrance that led to parking. We were in room 25.
