"Purbeck house hotel is right in the town and close to everything. However, once inside and in the gardens, it is so tranquil, a perfect stay. "My second time staying here. Checked in easy enough with the accommodation across the road at the lodge. The room had nice décor although the bathroom looked a little tired. I used the onsite gym facilities which did not have a lot of people in and allowed me to use the work stations and benches when I wanted to. The shower was good, the bed very comfy and breakfast across at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. A lovely place to stay."

"Clean, comfy bed, and great shower. But be aware that the central location to the square = a lot of noise. Disturbances include a constant ticking type sound in the room, noisy bar patrons in the evening, and the constant ringing of church bells on the 1/2 hour. Appreciated the provided ear plugs. "
