We absolutely loved our stay at Carambola Beach Resort. The views were nothing short of breathtaking. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. This resort has a spectacular location that looked just like Hawaii. I preferred this remote location to a larger resort in one of the towns on the island because of the seclusion. I liked the hiking trails and the coral reefs I swam around with my mask and snorkel.

What a beautiful resort. The beach, the pool and the views were all incredible. I enjoyed the beachfront room. The back porch doors completely open up and you can keep the shutters shut so you have privacy while still hearing the crashes of the waves. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It is right on the beach with lots of oceanview rooms. It's on the rainforest side so beautiful mountains and nice breezes. In the offseason the food options on the property are limited, but adequate. It's right near an amazing RTJ designed golf course which is beautiful. It is dark at night on that side of the island, and I was not comfortable enough to drive at night, but there is plenty of daylight to explore, then unwind at the resort in the evening. I highly recommend it and would stay there again.
