Sue and Clive have a well deserved good reputation. We wanted an immersive English countryside experience in a 400 year old Inn, and that is what we got. A delicious full English breakfast is included in the room price.

A classic bed and breakfast accommodation. Room was spacious and well presented with a large comfortable bed. The bar was very traditional and the restaurant very comfortable with an extensive menu. Evening meal and the breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The whole stay was an enjoyable experience.

If the car park was tidier the score would have been higher. The pub ambiance was very good and was obviously well loved by locals. The setting is lovely and sits in a pretty little village. Food was wholesome and good. Breakfast was tasty and well presented.

Staff here are lovely and helpful. It is the only inn in the village so there was a lively atmosphere in the bar where we were alloted an exclusive table to use for the 3 days (2 nights) instead of in the restaurant. Parking was private and there was just enough room for everyone. Breakfasts were excellent and cooked to order. We ate in the bar both nights and our steak and chicken were perfectly cooked and with various appropriate sides.

A quaint pub which which has incredibly friendly and professional staff and owner (Sue) that simply couldn’t do more to make your stay more comfortable. The food was excellent and atmosphere lovely. I’ll be back when next working in the area.

The owners of the pubvwent above and beyond in sorting out my nightmare with Red Letter Days voucher. Also very friendly the food was all home cooked and portions were large. Amazing value fir money

Friendly staff who warmly welcomed us on our arrival. Room was clean, well equipped with all that you expect and though we didn't use the shower the bath was welcome at the end of a hot day! The food was gorgeous, sizes were good and all freshly made. There's ample parking at the back. Would we go back? Yes we most certainly would.

A lovely old traditional Inn, just perfect. Brilliant location, central, so very good accessibility to most of Norfolk. The beaches and little villages would keep anyone busy for days, we didn’t have time to visit Norwich, but maybe next time. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was lovely home cooked food, lots of choices from fish and chips to a roast dinner. We would definitely return.

Wonderful little find. Sue & her team were extremely helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent, bed was comfy and would definitely return. My only niggle was that it was a faff trying to get the temperature right for the shower. Nothing however in the grand scheme of things. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay this week in the massive family room. 4 singles and one double bed in the room and it still felt very spacious. There was also a cupboard with hangers, a fan, tea/coffee making facilities and a huge fridge which came in very handy. Complimentary bottled water was also provided and again was much appreciated given the hot weather. The en-suite bathroom had an electric shower over the bath. It wasn’t very strong but the water was always hot. Enjoyed a cooked breakfast every morning in the pub. Sue and Clive are great hosts who always accommodated us if we wanted to eat dinner there as well. Thanks to Izzy as well who was really lovely with our kids. Great location for exploring North Norfolk. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and want to return!
