"The location was close to Los Olivos and good for a one night stay. The room was comfortable, but somewhat dated. The front door key we were given didn’t work, and we had to call the emergency number to get in after we returned from dinner. They answered on the second call and we got in. "

"Check-in was at 3p. We arrived at around 3:40p with our 2 toddlers and we were told the room was not ready. We waited in the lobby until around 4:25 when it was finally ready. We had done our sight-seeing so it was an inconvenience with hot and tired kids, same for us adults. The room had some dusty areas and a used Q-tip on the carpet. "The front desk staff was so pleasant. They made arrangements for a late check out to accommodate an elderly family member. They remembered me from the day before, which is never expected with so many customers, but always appreciated. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the fun looking courtyard and bar, but we will come back and stay there from a more leisurely trip soon!"

"This little place is right on the highway. Just a block from downtown Solvang, it was easy inconvenient to get into town. There is a restaurant in the hotel right next-door if you don’t want to walk, but there are so many great places in Solvang I would recommend doing that. The room was clean and well kept. "The ease of check-in was nice after a long drive. The room was clean, simple, no frills and exactly what was needed for a shower and some sleep. Very quiet until the neighbor enters their room, then you realize the walls are kind of thin. Fortunately, the noise didn't last long. Bathroom was clean.
